This morning depart for Venice, by boat, a wonderful journey over the Adriatic Sea to one of the most romantic cities in the world. You have time to relax in one of the cafes or explore the stunning churches and winding alleys and its small boutique shops that this floating city is home to. An inspiring city full of beautiful architecture and famous sights, such as the Piazza San Marco (St Marks Square) surrounded by impressive buildings that give you a sense of the enormous history that has taken place here. You have this time at leisure, to explore Porec further at your own pace. Why not take the chance to stroll around the cultural and historical centre, discover the Northern Tower along Peskera Cove as well as the Circular Tower which boasts stunning views of the waterfront. There are a host of sights to enjoy such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Euphrasius Basilica as well as the House of Two Saints, Romanic House and the oldest square, Marafor. Today we depart Porec on a full day excursion through the charming Istrian Coast. Our first stop is Pula for a sightseeing tour of the areas largest city and its famous Roman sights Amphitheatre, the Temple of Augustus, the ancient town walls and the Golden Gate, which gained attention from many artists such as Michelangelo. Afterwards you are free to explore for yourself and discover other ancient treasures this city has to offer. We then board a boat for a trip across the water as we continue our journey to Rovinj. Once we arrive in Rovinj, enjoy one of the most romantic settings in the Mediterranean with its narrow medieval streets and pretty little squares. We then leave Rovinj to make our back to Porec.
